We are in the northeastern part of Botswana, very close to Namibia, Angola, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
The small village of Pandamatenga began life as a trading post during colonial times, serving as a launching point for explorers heading towards Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia).
The Pandamatenga Farming Area was established in the mid-1980s since it is the only place in Botswana with black cotton soil, ideal for dryland agriculture. Nearly 40 years later, it is home to the country’s largest grain producing area.
